After enjoying the car for a few months, I’ve been curious what kind of power it’s actually making to the wheels. So, I went ahead and scheduled a dyno appointment.
Here is another video, with a loud backfire out of my midpipe (axleback section removed after it started rubbing).
The best numbers were 448whp and 501wtq with SAE correction. It looks like all the N54 guys use STD correction instead and that converts to about 468whp and 523wtq!
Here are my modifications to reach this power:
335is/550i Clutch Upgrade
MFactory Single-Mass Flywheel
Race Transmission Mounts
BMW Performance Short Shift Kit
Teflon Shifter Bushings
Clutch Pedal Stop
Clutch Delay Valve Delete
JB4 No-lift-shift/2-step Relay
Redline D4 ATF Transmission Fluid
Redline 75W90 Rear Differential Fluid
